The Position Responsibilities:

The primary emphasis of this role is placed on serving existing clients in all aspects of their tax needs.  Therefore, the successful candidate will manage high-level tax compliance as well as provide significant consulting services, using their technical knowledge of complex tax concepts to develop and deliver innovative tax planning ideas and structures for their clients.  The candidate must have “hands on" experience with the return preparation process as well as consulting.  Experience with helping companies’ in the start-up phase is a real plus.  In addition, this position requires a strong tax generalist background as well as the ability to provide sound business advice to clients.  Companies that we serve typically range in size from $50-300 million and are primarily subsidiaries of foreign parents.  Finally, the successful candidate will also train, motivate and develop staff.

 

Tax Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Masters Preferred
  • Certified Public Accounting Licensure
  • 8 years Corporate Tax Management experience
  • Opportunity for Some International Travel
