Operations Associate at Torrey & Gray, Chicago, IL

  • Work business user and system developers to manage system enhancements/reporting.
  • Perform and/or coordinate functionality along with regression testing on database and reporting systems.
  • Reconcile transaction data between various systems of record.
  • Create and/or review control reports, and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Assist with calculations of client level P&L and various monthly reporting.
  • Security set up and transaction review in proprietary database when needed.
  • Review quality of data and identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Operate efficiently under timeframes and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Participate in the development of new processes/procedures in support of ongoing continuous improvement. 
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, financial services a plus.
  • Experience using database software; experience with Business Objects is preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Intelligent, fast learner, detail oriented, and thorough with strong analytical skills  
  • Hands-on attitude/willing to do anything & everything needed to support the efforts of the team
