Operations Associate at Torrey & Gray, Chicago, IL
- Work business user and system developers to manage system enhancements/reporting.
- Perform and/or coordinate functionality along with regression testing on database and reporting systems.
- Reconcile transaction data between various systems of record.
- Create and/or review control reports, and other ad hoc reporting.
- Assist with calculations of client level P&L and various monthly reporting.
- Security set up and transaction review in proprietary database when needed.
- Review quality of data and identify and resolve issues independently.
- Operate efficiently under timeframes and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Participate in the development of new processes/procedures in support of ongoing continuous improvement.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, financial services a plus.
- Experience using database software; experience with Business Objects is preferred.
- Project management experience.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Intelligent, fast learner, detail oriented, and thorough with strong analytical skills
- Hands-on attitude/willing to do anything & everything needed to support the efforts of the team
