SENIOR ANALYST – PUBLIC ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONALS– Fortune 500 – Unlimited Advancement

 

Our client is an Industry Leading, Global Fortune 500 - Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Chicago area. The company is in need of several top-notch, highly motivated accounting professionals to fill the role of A Senior Analyst.  This role will have daily exposure to the Management Team of the company and will be a critical contributor to the company’s overall financial success. The position is available due to relocation to the Chicago area.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • SEC Reporting (document / footnote preparation etc.).
  • Internal reporting including monthly financial reporting and analysis.
  • Monthly review and maintenance of acquisition data submitted by operating subsidiaries.
  • Maintenance of equity compensation (stock option, SSARs) accounting records to comply with FAS 123R.
  • Assist on new accounting pronouncements/ footnote disclosures and other GAAP/SEC implementation issues.
  • Assist in maintenance of financial policies and procedures manual;
  • Assist in maintaining reports in and integration of GAAP accounting changes into the financial reporting system; and
  • Special projects and initiatives.

 

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Public Accounting or a large company’s corporate reporting area.
  • Big 4 Public Accounting or Large Regional Public Accounting experience is preferred.  
  • Experience with or exposure to SEC reporting,
  • Ad- hoc analysis and interaction with the corporate entities on various accounting and analysis issues.
  • Interaction with the External Auditors regarding quarterly reviews and annual audits.

 

Compensation:

 

  • Base salary of $75K to $95K base salary - plus bonus depending on experience and skill set.
